A ficticious scenario that happens for real everyday:
In the quiet town of Winton, far away from the hustle of big cities, lived an old man named Harold. He lived all alone in his quaint, rustic house at the edge of town. Harold wasn’t a man of many words, and the townsfolk rarely saw him, except on his occasional visits to the local grocer. His best companions were his two dogs, Max and Rex, and three cats, Misty, Daisy, and Bella.
One fateful day, Harold passed away peacefully in his sleep. No one in the town had any inkling about the sad occurrence. His house, always quiet and seemingly empty, did not attract anyone’s attention, and his pets were left alone to starve and dehydrate.
What I have designed, I need to pay professionals to program and advertise. Here it is:
An iOS/Apple Watch App whose function is to monitor the Watch wearer’s pulse.
Should the pulse cease for too long a period of time, the App will automatically send emails a text messages to people already pre-designated in the App, with a message already written ahead of time, in case of such an event.
Simple, but important for many who are the only caregiver for pets and or small children.
The technology to do this is here, we only need to pay an App programming company to make it happen.
The Apple Watch and iPhone are amazing devices, fall detection, yes, but heart attack, Stroke or other, no. There is nothing out there currently that will do this. More people than imagined need this. It’s no more morbid than making a Will.
